If you are a Queensland resident and purchase and install a rainwater tank according to set conditions, you may be eligible to receive rebates from the Queensland Government and your local council.
What is supplied with my Q Tank?
Q Tank is happy to provide more inclusions with our tanks than most other suppliers so you can get the most out of your tank. All Q Tanks include:
- 500mm leaf strainer
- 90mm overflow outlet fitted with 'mozzie mesh'
- 2 x 1" water outlets
- 1 x 1" ball valve
- 1 x tap fitting for easy use of your hose
- 1 x 'Q Tank water in use' sign for display outside your home
- Thread tape

When will I receive my Q Tank?
If the tank you order is not currently in stock, we will advise when you place your order approximately when your tank will be available.
When you buy from Q Tank, you buy direct from the tank's manufacturer. We're likely to get your tank to you faster, cutting out over-handling.
Do I need to seek planning, building or plumbing approvals for a rainwater tank?
If you plan to position your tank within 450mm from your property boundary, please contact your local council to check before ordering your tank.
