Store Fuel Safely and Simply with QTank. Our new 5,000L and 10,000L bunded diesel and AdBlue storage tanks offer a self-bunded, plug-and-play solution for safe on-site fuel storage, with the tank and pump package supplied ready to use. Built tough from UV-stabilised poly and fitted with a ready-to-use pump system, they’re ideal for farms, fleets, workshops and depots that want reliable on-site refuelling. Australian-made and engineered in accordance with AS1940 and AS/NZS 4766, QTank bunded tanks are designed to deliver fuel security, efficiency and peace of mind.

Fuel supply for excavators, loaders, rollers and site vehicles at civil depots, project yards and laydown areas where downtime is expensive. Above ground bunded diesel tanks give crews a safe, practical refuelling point close to the work base.
Bulk diesel and AdBlue on site for trucks, buses and service fleets so vehicles refuel in the yard instead of waiting at servos. A yard fuel tank and pump package makes refuelling part of your normal depot routine.
Refuelling on site can save a surprising amount of time and fuel over a year. Drivers are not leaving the yard to queue at a servo, and vehicles come off the road for shorter periods, which can add up to significant labour and running-cost savings for busy fleets.
QTank’s self-bunded poly tanks are light to transport and tough enough for harsh conditions, so you can set up fuel storage where it’s needed with minimal prep. The double-walled bunded design means fewer environmental headaches and faster installation, ideal for off-grid or temporary setups, including camps, regional depots and telecommunications sites.
Workshop diesel storage in 5,000L or 10,000L tanks for utes, service trucks, forklifts and vehicles that refuel in the yard. Replace older drums and small tanks with one self bunded tank and pump package that creates a clean, central refuelling bay. Easy to manage and neat.
Diesel and AdBlue storage for mining support sites, contractor yards and satellite operations that need compliant bulk fuel on site. Bunded poly tanks handle tough conditions while keeping installations and maintenance straightforward.

Yes, our bunded poly tanks are perfect as farm diesel fuel tanks for on-site refuelling. They work really well as a central refuelling point for tractors, machinery and other gear around the farm.
With 5,000L and 10,000L capacities, they suit smaller family farms right through to larger operations and give you solid on-farm diesel storage between deliveries. Instead of juggling drums and small tanks, you get one clear refuelling spot that keeps things tidier and easier to manage.
The tanks are designed as above ground, self bunded units, so site prep is straightforward compared to older single-skin or steel tanks that need separate bunds. The poly construction is low maintenance and impact resistant, which is handy in busy yards where different machines are moving around. They are also a good option for remote paddocks or near irrigation setups, because the tank is lighter to move into place and can be supplied with a 12V pump where mains power is not available.
Yes, our bunded diesel tanks are a great fit for on-site truck refuelling at transport yards and depots. Each tank acts like a small on-site fuel station for trucks, buses and service vehicles, so refuelling happens where the vehicles park.
With 5,000L and 10,000L bulk diesel storage, our tanks suit smaller local fleets through to busy regional depots. Instead of sending trucks to the servo, you keep diesel on site in an above ground self-bunded tank and manage refuelling on your own schedule.
Refuelling in the yard can reduce a lot of “dead” time over a year. Drivers are not leaving site to fill up, waiting in servo queues or driving back to the depot on the clock. For many fleets, moving to on-site refuelling delivers real savings in labour, fuel use and vehicle wear.
Our diesel tank and pump packages are set up for yard use, with high-flow pump options that cut refuelling time and keep vehicles moving. Most transport yards choose 240V pumps for day-to-day truck refuelling, and you can add a matching bunded AdBlue tank or a second diesel tank side by side if the fleet grows. The self bunded design and bunded pump cabinet help with spill containment on concrete or hardstand, and are a tidy upgrade from old steel tanks, fuel drums or IBCs sitting around the yard.
Our bunded poly diesel tanks are ideal for refuelling at construction depots and project yards. Each tank works as a high capacity on-site fuel point for excavators, loaders, skid steers, trucks and other plant that operate out of the depot or laydown area.
With 5,000L and 10,000L diesel storage, a single above-ground tank suits most small to medium crews, and you can add extra tanks if a project needs more capacity or separate storage for AdBlue.
Our tanks are fully self bunded, so site preparation is usually as simple as preparing a suitable level base rather than building a separate bund wall or pit. The rotationally moulded poly construction is low maintenance and impact resistant, which suits busy depots and project yards where machines are moving around the tank all day.
A bunded poly diesel tank can also be relocated between projects. The lighter tank body makes it easier to lift and transport once the fuel is removed, so you can set the tank up at the depot for one job and move it to the next laydown area when you are finished. It is not a small portable fuel tank for mounting on a truck or ute, so the tank must be emptied before relocation, but it is a very practical option for project-to-project refuelling.
Yes, we offer bunded AdBlue tanks that can sit alongside bulk diesel tanks for fleets. They suit transport yards, depots, bus fleets and workshops that want diesel and AdBlue refuelling in the same on-site area.
Our 5,000L and 10,000L bunded AdBlue tanks match our diesel tank sizes, so you can install them side by side as a single refuelling point. Each tank is self bunded and double walled, and comes as a tank and pump package with 12V or 240V pump options.
A self bunded fuel tank is a double wall tank with an inner tank that holds the diesel and an outer tank (i.e. "bund"), that catches any leaks or overfills. The gap between the two creates built in spill containment so diesel stays inside the tank system instead of reaching the ground or drains.
Our self bunded tanks are sized to provide around 110% containment of the inner tank. That means if the inner tank is damaged or overfilled, the outer bund has enough capacity to hold all of the fuel safely. The pump and hose sit inside a bunded cabinet as well, so small drips and spills during refuelling are also contained.
A single skin diesel tank is simply one wall of steel or poly with no secondary containment built in. To get the necessary compliance level of protection, a single skin fuel tank needs a separate concrete bund, pit, tray or other containment structure built around it. If that extra bunding is not in place or not maintained, any leak or overfill can end up on soil, concrete or into nearby drains.
In practical terms, a self bunded fuel tank gives you on site diesel storage and spill containment in one unit. That makes installation easier and helps meet compliance with ease, great for farms, transport yards and construction sites, and avoids a lot of the extra work and cost that comes with single skin tanks and separate bunds.
Our above-ground bunded diesel storage tanks are designed in accordance with AS 1940 and AS/NZS 4766, which are the key standards that cover diesel fuel storage and polyethylene tank manufacture.
AS 1940 covers the storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids, including diesel. Our self bunded tanks and bunded pump cabinets are built to follow the design recommendations for secure containment, spill control and safer on-site fuel storage, making them a strong fit for farms, transport yards and depots that need standards-aligned diesel tanks on the ground.
AS/NZS 4766 sets out the requirements for rotationally moulded polyethylene tanks, including material selection, wall thickness, strength, impact resistance and hydrostatic performance. Designing and building to this standard means our poly diesel and AdBlue tanks are purpose-built for fuel and chemical storage, not just repurposed from the water tanks we usually specialise in. Our fuel storage tanks are designed and manufactured in Australia to handle local UV and site conditions over the long term.
Tank compliance is only one part of on-site fuel storage, so overall compliance for your site will also depend on correct installation, clearances and local regulations. Our tanks give you a standards-aligned self bunded starting point, and we always recommend confirming the final setup with your regulator or safety advisor.
In most cases, no. If you install one of our bunded diesel tanks as your on-site diesel storage tank (or AdBlue), you generally do not need to build a separate concrete bund around it. The tank is fully self bunded, so the bund is already built into the design.
Our bunded tanks use an inner tank for the diesel and an outer tank that acts as the bund, providing 110% containment of the inner tank volume. The pump and hose sit inside a bunded pump cabinet, so spills during filling and refuelling are also captured. For most farms, workshops, transport yards and construction depots, an above-ground self bunded diesel tank is a simpler way to meet spill containment expectations than pouring a separate concrete bund or pit.
The tanks are designed to follow AS1940-style bunding principles, but every site is different, and local regulators or insurers may ask for extra measures such as specific hardstand areas, drainage control or traffic protection. It is always worth checking your own compliance and site requirements, but you should not need to build an additional concrete bund just to use one of our self bunded diesel storage tanks.
If you already have a properly designed bunded concrete bay and want to keep tank costs down, you can also look at our single-skin diesel and single-skin AdBlue tanks, which are made to sit inside an existing bund.
Pick from 240V or 12V pumps, with low or high flow options depending on what suits your site. The pump, hose, nozzle and fittings are all fitted and ready to go.
These packages are all about simplicity: you get a proper on-site fuel tank and pump solution, not just a loose kit or a small portable tank. For AdBlue, we also offer matching bunded tank and pump packages.
Our bunded poly tanks in this range are designed for on-site diesel and AdBlue storage. These tanks are not suitable for petrol, unleaded, aviation fuel or other highly flammable liquids, and they are not intended for waste oil or unknown chemicals. If you need to store water or a specific chemical, reach out to our team so we can confirm compatibility or suggest a more suitable tank from our wider poly tank range.
No, these bulk fuel tanks aren't designed as portable diesel tanks for a ute or truck. With 5,000L and 10,000L capacity, they’re for fixed above-ground storage on site, much too heavy to move full and not made for transport use.
You can relocate the tank to another site once it’s empty and safe to lift, but for true portable refuelling, you’ll need a smaller diesel tank built specifically for utes or service vehicles.
A poly diesel tank and a steel fuel tank both get the job done for on-site diesel storage, but there are some real-world differences worth knowing. Our bunded tanks won’t rust or corrode, even if you’re working around fertiliser, farm chemicals, or salty coastal air. They’re lighter and much easier to move or relocate between sites, so if your storage needs change or you’re running civil works, a poly tank can be a big help.
Steel tanks are strong but a lot heavier, and they need more site prep to install. You also have to keep an eye on rust and repainting, which means more time and money on maintenance. Both tank types can be bunded, but with our poly tanks, the bund is built in as standard. Poly is also low maintenance (no rust, no flaking paint), just a visual check and the odd clean.
For most sites needing 5,000L or 10,000L of above ground diesel storage, a bunded poly tank is usually more cost effective, easier to set up, and just less hassle in the long run. When you’re finished, poly tanks are also recyclable, while steel tanks often need more complicated disposal.
Our bunded poly tanks sit at the premium end of our range, combining storage, bunding and dispensing gear in one unit. If you already have a compliant bunded bay and only need a tank, our single-skin diesel and single-skin AdBlue poly tanks are a more economical alternative.
You just need a firm, level base that can support a full tank. We typically recommend a concrete slab, a well-compacted crusher dust pad or a bitumen hardstand, sized to suit the tank footprint and any local requirements.
There’s no need to build a separate bund wall or pit. The tank’s double wall handles containment itself. Allow room for delivery, refuelling and clear access around the tank. Arrange power for a 240V pump if you’re using mains or a generator, or choose a 12V pump if that suits your setup better.
Yes, our bunded poly diesel tanks are great for remote and off-grid fuel storage. They work well at stations, camps, quarries, and regional depots as a central fuel point for generators, utes, and machinery.
With 5,000L and 10,000L sizes, you get bulk diesel storage on site and cut down on long trips to town. The above-ground self-bunded design makes spill control easier, especially where clean-up is remote and expensive.
The poly tank is lighter than steel, so freight and setup at remote spots is simpler. Once empty, you can move the tank between sites. Just note: this isn’t a small portable ute tank so it must be emptied before relocating.
We offer both 240V pumps, which are ideal for generator or mains power, and 12V pumps for sites that prefer battery, solar or vehicle power. That flexibility makes it simple to match the tank to whatever power source you actually have on site.
You get a choice of pump options with every bunded diesel or AdBlue tank we sell, so you can match the setup to your site and power supply.
For diesel tanks, pick from four pumps: 240V low-flow, 240V high-flow, 12V low-flow, or 12V high-flow. High-flow pumps are great for truck depots or construction yards where you want to fill up large tanks quickly. 12V pumps are a good fit for remote or off-grid locations where low-voltage power is easier to provide than a standard 240V supply.
AdBlue tanks come with two options: 240V or 12V AdBlue compatible pumps. High-flow isn’t needed for AdBlue so these pumps are designed for easy & accurate top-ups for fleets or farm equipment.
Looking after a poly bunded diesel or AdBlue tank is pretty straightforward. There’s not much to do, unlike conventional steel fuel tanks, you don’t have to worry about rust, repainting, or treating for corrosion. There’s no need for special coatings, rust removers, or climbing over a tank to patch leaks. Just a quick visual check now and then is enough.
You’ll want to give the tank and bund a visual once-over, keep the exterior clean, and check the pump, fittings and seals for any signs of wear. Make sure vents aren’t blocked and that the tank sits flat on its base. For diesel, check for water inside using a dipstick and water-finding paste, and replace the fuel filter every 6–12 months.
Our bunded poly tanks are built for a long working life when they’re installed and maintained correctly. The tank body is made from UV-stabilised, corrosion-resistant polyethylene, so it won’t rust or need repainting like a steel tank.
Each tank is built according to AS/NZS 4766 standards, giving you confidence it’s made to last in tough Australian conditions. We back every tank with a 5-year manufacturer warranty, and the pump system is covered by the manufacturers warranty (typically 12 months).
This bunded range is our premium fuel storage option for sites that want a complete self-bunded tank and pump package. If you already have a compliant concrete bund or containment bay and would prefer a lower upfront cost, we also offer single-skin diesel and single-skin AdBlue poly tanks that are designed to be installed inside an existing bunded area.
Yes, our bunded poly diesel tanks are a straightforward replacement for old single-skin or unbunded fuel tanks. If you’ve got an ageing steel tank, a tank sitting in a concrete bay, or a mix of drums and IBCs, it’s a straightforward upgrade.
With a self-bunded design (inner tank, outer bund, and bunded pump bay), you get 110% containment so leaks or spills stay inside the system. This makes it much easier to meet spill control and environmental rules when upgrading.
Poly tanks don’t rust or need repainting, so you spend less time worrying about leaks and maintenance. We also offer bunded AdBlue tanks, which are a proper upgrade from makeshift setups or single-skin storage.
The lightweight poly build is easier and often cheaper to transport than heavy steel tanks, and offloading is straightforward with a forklift or light crane once the tank arrives on site.
Because the tank is above ground and self bunded, setup is usually simple once you have a suitable base. Pump options are available in 240V or 12V to suit depot power, generator power or off-grid setups.
Yes, our bunded poly diesel tanks are a good fit for storing fuel for generators, pumps and construction equipment. The tank gives you on-site diesel storage so you have fuel ready for the gear that keeps the site running.
With 5,000L and 10,000L capacities, one tank can supply bulk diesel for multiple generators, irrigation or transfer pumps, and machines like excavators, loaders and skid steers. The above-ground, self bunded design means you can set a tank up close to where it is needed with minimal site preparation than older unbunded tanks or concrete bunds.
These tanks are designed as fixed on-site diesel storage, not small portable tanks. Equipment is normally brought to the tank to refuel, or diesel is pumped into a separate cartage tank if you need to top up pumps or gear that cannot be moved. The double-wall bunded design contains leaks, and the rotationally moulded poly shell is low maintenance and impact resistant for busy yards and sites.
Yes, our bunded poly diesel tanks are well suited to remote, mining and off grid fuel storage. A single tank gives you on-site diesel for generators, light vehicles and equipment at camps, quarries and regional depots.
With 5,000L and 10,000L capacities, a bunded poly tank holds enough fuel between deliveries without stepping up to complex bulk systems. The lighter poly construction is much easier to freight and position than an equivalent steel tank, which helps control transport and cranage costs when the site is a long way from town.
On remote and mining sites, a diesel spill into bare ground or natural drainage is expensive and difficult to clean up. A fully self bunded tank keeps fuel off the soil and out of creeks and stock water, reducing environmental risk and potential downtime. UV-stabilised, corrosion-resistant poly handles harsh sun, dust and weather better than aging painted steel.
For off grid fuel storage, a bunded poly tank can be supplied with a 12V pump powered from vehicles or site power, or with a 240V pump where mains or generator power is available. Once empty, the lighter tank body can be lifted and moved to the next project. It is not a small portable ute tank, but it is a very practical option when you need bulk diesel on site in remote or mining locations.
